I love to build up a list of all the things i’m currently loving in the ‘lifestyle/wellness’ department – obviously because that’s what I do. I feel it’s always important to share what you know and share what inspires you in order to help others… I learn mostly everything from other people and of course a lot of my ideas come from my personal environmental and social influences – we all do!
I make a lot of time for the following stuff because it’s not only educational but it’s inspirational and motivating! If you haven’t already seen my recent post on the ‘7 Factors of Wellness’ then please do check it out. I explain each factor and what you can do to implement them to your personal lifestyle.
I’m a useless reader, I find it really difficult to start and finish a book within a reasonable amount of time but I love to read. I found this book a little difficult to get into but after the first chapter it was like ‘OHHHH how interesting’ I’m just a little over half way but it’s a good one so far! It’s the kind of motivational book I’m into.
This is my current ‘go-to’ book for a little life boost. It’s a workbook so it’s great for a little activity & focus. Put some perspective on your dream life. You do actually have to focus on it and do a task each week (instead of leaving monthly intervals in-between like ME)
I have over 15 books on my reading list for 2019, I’ll be very surprised if I tick them off but I’ve got a lot to get through – What’s on your reading list?
On Purpose with Jay Shetty – I am literally obsessed with this podcast. Like I recently said I learn more from other people and this platform is the best of the best for all lifestyle/wellness wisdom. Jay hosts his own shows and sometimes has guests on to have insightful conversations. I will be recommending this to everyone I talk to in the foreseeable future.
The Receipts Podcast – Laughter really is the best medicine, it releases so many feel good endorphins and I can assure you you’ll have a laugh listening to this. The 3 wonderful ladies that present this are so genuine, funny and honest – you’re guaranteed to have a laugh (even in awkward situations)
They discuss real life shit and answer peoples questions and give their personal advice. I promise it’s a good one!
I’m not really watching anything at the moment, I’ve usually got a series on the go but I haven’t found anything worth dedicating my time to at the moment. If you have any recommendations please feel free to send them my way!
I have however recently watched ‘When They See Us’ on Netflix and I must say it was excellent even though it was SO hard to watch and accept the fact it was based on a true story. Don’t miss this one!

Always share what inspires you with other people (friends/family and strangers)
Make note of the things that make you happy so that you can do on the daily (turn them into habits)
Dedicate parts of your day to do more for you, listen to a podcast when you’re getting ready, read on your commute to work or watch/listen to your favourite film/playlist when you’re working out. Fill in the gaps throughout your day with things that you enjoy.
