We’re half way through 2019 already, can you believe it? As of the 1st of June in Sydney winter officially started so this means I’ve got 3 months of hard work and dedication ahead of me so there’s no better time to push yourself than over the winter period ‘slump months’ – actively keeping yourself busy/productive will reduce the chances of you having the ‘winter blues’ – This works vice versa whatever season you enter, you have to make sure you’re prepared for the transition and organise yourself accordingly.
When you write down your goals you’re creating a way to track your progress (SMART Goals are the best way) it’s a great way to reflect on your progress from when you started and you’ll be able to monitor the time frame you’re working with. Most importantly writing down your goals however big or small they may be, always allows you to bring your vision into reality.
My Winter Goals
I Would’ve Read 3 books (1 a Month)
I am terrible at finishing books even when i’m interested in it, I Just don’t have the attention span – I’ll be reading something and soon realise I’ve been thinking about all the 100 things going on in my head at the same time so not absorbing what I’m reading BUT I have a huge book list that needs ticking off this year (Yes I’ve already started)
My Fitness Goals…
These are probably the biggest of them all over the next few months, My journey has been slow over the last couple of weeks but i’m SO excited to see where I can take myself in 3 months. I’ve got a diet plan and I’ve got a training programme so there are no excuses to be made. I have one of my bestfriends weddings in September & then Summer starts again in Sydney and I’m not looking like a stuffed sausage this time round.
I want to revamp the entire thing to suit my planned content. I have an idea in my head of how I’d like it to look so over the next few months expect a big change – the only reason I’m not pushing my blog more than I am is because I’m not happy with how it looks.
Following from the blog upgrade, I’m going too start reaching out to companies/brands for collaborations. I want to start maximising my potential and working with great people on different lifestyle and wellness projects.
I Want to Save…
$10,000 + by September. I will do this by finding extra work on top of my full time job (I miss the promo life so i’m wanting to get back into that here) I want to enjoy my time at home but also have enough security money for when I get back to Sydney.
Find a New Home
Me and Rj are officially moving out of our beautiful apartment that we share with 2 male friends & into our own place. The lease is up and so is our time sharing, we need our own space as a couple & I want to create a home away from home for the remainder of my time in Sydney.
Book a Holiday (Christmas Break)
We haven’t decided where our Christmas will be spent this year but it’s not going to be in Sydney (Either somewhere cold and Christmasy or Sunny & tropical)
Plan & Host a Wellness Event
#Welcomewellness2019 is coming to life. This is exclusive news right here so if you’re reading this you should feel a little lucky… this only the very start & something small to start but i’m excited, I will be joining forces with 2 friends and we will be bringing together
“To live a fulfilled life, we need to keep creating the “what is next”, of our lives. Without dreams and goals there is no living, only merely existing, and that is not why we are here.”
Be committed to your goals and not just interested in them, you’ll only let yourself down when you don’t see them through
Write all of your goals down, create a vision board (Use pictures if necessary)
Celebrate succeeding your goals, no matter how big or small appreciate them and give reward yourself however you like
What are your top 3 short term goals for the next 3 months?
Please share them in the comments below – I would love to know (Inspire and to be inspired)
